lol GREAT saying! counseling seems promising. J just turned 7 & M is turning 5 in a coupla weeks. I feel so off kilter it's hard to even express..

Argh. I'm so sorry. I can hardly imagine. We have a saying around here that goes something like, "Fuck cancer." I hope the counseling went well.

I'm so sorry for your loss! That is rough for any family to deal with. I hope the counseling can get you guys back on even footing. How old are your kiddos?

thanks all. went well, it's for me & the kids.  we lost their mother in Nov., after a long battle w/ cancer. it's been a  tough 6 months.

Try to stay relaxed - my first trip to marriage counseling with my husband turned out to be unexpectedly fun. I don't imagine it's like that for everyone, but I'll cross my fingers for you!
