On the health front, I've been fighting several irritating battles. Apparently, getting my liver condition under control was just the first step. I've had a couple other issues pop up in the wake of that diagnosis, that aren't particularly serious, but manage to add to my vitamin-taking count.
To make a long, incredibly boring, and potentially TMI story short, I haven't been hitting the gym quite as often as I should, due to some rather nasty nausea issues. (No, not pregnant.) So when I went in today and SPTG (Sadistic Personal Trainer Guy) wanted to measure my body fat, I was worried.
However, my body fat has actually dropped 2% since my last weigh in, which was about two months ago! I'm right about 30%, which I haven't been at for over seven years now.
So that was really encouraging, considering that I have yet to get through one of SPTG's workouts without feeling like I'm going to pass out or vomit. Or both. This is making me even more determined than ever to get healthy, because if I can still post results like this while feeling this awful, I know that it will only get better.
Comment by Joe Mama on November 24, 2011 at 8:47am Boo on the continued health battles, yeay on forward progress on the BMI front. I thought you were as cute as a button when we met, but if dropping numbers equate to better health then happy day!
Comment by Mommy Monster on November 25, 2011 at 4:51am Yay! Good news that things are heading in the right direction, both medically and with SPTG.

Comment by mightyninjamom on November 25, 2011 at 9:36am If I wasn't getting any results, I would be so tempted to quit. But I try to remind myself that I spent my entire pregnancy with the Little Miss totally sedentary, since I was knocked out by my anti-emetics. Then I spent the next few years battling fatigue and poor health, since I wasn't getting the right diagnosis. Now I generally have a good picture of what's going on internally. Still doesn't make taking 17 pills with breakfast any more pleasant, though.
SPTG is good about not cutting me any slack - I warned him in the beginning that I was lazy about workouts. Now I spend our sessions cursing at him while he calls me a wuss. I thought he was a total douchenozzle when I first met him, but now he has my grudging respect. Well, for training, anyway. He's still a sexist, ignorant little punk.
