ok, got a phone call from my sister the other night, she's older, just newly married, and no kids. spring has sprung, at least for a day or so, just in time for the D to get another tooth-it seems like the teeth are getting a tad bit easier for her, this one just sort of appeared-we knew something was brewing, in that her drool had hit predator status sans the acid, which is good, as we have wood floors-

Its my first official mother's day, and my husband and the Dbomb didn't let me down. I just want to express my amazement at being a parent. Yes, I was a complete person I think before having the D, but now I am a complete, plus plus, and my heart just grows bigger with each day.

So my mother in law was over today in between naps, watching Dbomb to give me almost a full day of working sans child under my feet, and she was talking about her recent visit to my sister in laws this past week. Now, the son in law, well, as a whole he's a prime example of what I dislike...he would vote Rush Limbaugh into office if he ever ran for President, but we have learned to deal with that aspect, and be thankful that he doesn't come to visit a lot.....but hearing about how he is…

ok, just spent a couple of hours with a friend who's partner of 11 years dumped him recently. It was tough, he's bitter, and deservingly so, and one of her many excuses is, "eveyone breaks up....people don't stay together....she's earned the right to see other people....". What?

I just don't understand that logic, that you don't work at relationships, that its easier to walk away if the urge is there.....why don't we work at making relationships work? is there a mindset in society now…

ok, this is getting old....I know I moved from Virginia to Colorado to escape the humidity (and my family, but that's a story only to be told over a lot of beer) which was a good decision, it was, but I think I missed the memo about our furnance staying on until JUNE.
