- About Me:
- I'm usually the odd mom out." I live the domestic dream." I have a house and a husband and two healthy little kids and a lab. Maybe I'm being unrealistic, but it feels like i'm missing more than the white picket fence. I am a dreamer and an artist with creative passion bursting out of me. Right now I'm trying to find more ways to use this passion that don't include crayons and dirt.
- What's something about your kid(s) that makes you happy?
- My four year old son Jack has a better vocabulary than most adults in this city, and he is always down for hanging out.
It makes me happy when my one-year-old, Delaney Jane, latches onto me like a little baby monkey.
- What's your most recent kid-related public humiliation?
- the phrase "public humiliation " seems a bit redundant.
- What about contemporary parenting culture pisses you off the most?
- Jesus fanclubs disguised as mom groups, scrapbooking, the expectations.
- Who were you BEFORE you became a parent?
- Lets be honest. I was 19. I could talk myself into anything.
- What are you nerdy about?
- The fact that I just debated in my head whether or not that question was gramatically correct. My affection for reading physics books in the bathtub while listening to cypress hill is pretty nerdy too.
