What about contemporary parenting culture pisses you off the most?

The "Return to the '50's When America Was Great" crowd. The '50's were not the "Leave It To Beaver"-esque world TV and revisionist history makes it out to be.

Who were you BEFORE you became a parent?

I was, and still am, a musician and teacher.

What are you nerdy about?

Music, music, and music.

The only kind that counts: Good! This changes daily but to name a few: Miles Davis, King Crimson, Tool, Bach, Fiona Apple, Dirty Projectors, XTC, Brad Mehldau, Avishai Cohen, Mahler.
