"I work full time, am going to school part time (online pre-reqs in preparation to start my Master's in Speech Path next fall) and have two kids aged 3.5 and 6. I am also in management, so work at least 45 hours in the office each week.…"
"I initially thought we would have 3 or 4 but pretty quickly came to realize that 2 was the right fit for us. Part of this decision was financial, and wanting to be secure in our ability to provide for them. If my husband had pushed to try for…"
"Funny you should post this - I've been having very similar thoughts. I graduated with my Bachelor's 11 years ago and having worked in various office jobs since then. The cycle has always been the same - start somewhere new, catch on really…"
"I think I would like to work part time (assuming in the magical world of the Offsprung commune this was an option financially.) I definitely need a break from my kids, and really need some kind of mental stimulation to stay sane, but would really…"
"I just found out that our school district is also charging for full day Kindergarten this year (half day is free). Our eldest daughter is still in preschool, so I'm not completely sure of the details, but I think most schools offer it, but…"
"I really admired how my friend handled it when her son decided he was afraid of water at the start of last summer. She was very calm, but persistent, and within an hour of being at the pool, he was playing and swimming around like a pro.
"wookie makes a good point about allergies. If she's doing a lot of crawling on carpeting, you may want to shampoo them or steam clean them. I never bothered with knee pads...neither of my kiddos crawled long enough for me to think about doing…"

"I stopped pumping at work when she was around 6 mths because I just couldn't do it anymore. She still nurses in the morning and when I get home from work (and unfortunately in the middle of the night) and it seems to be going well after almost…"
"I really think I would love being an elementary school teacher, but it would mean a pretty massive pay cut on top of taking the classes needed to get certified, so not really sure how feasible it is.
Which makes me very sad."
"Our house was built in 1986, so fairly new. It was a foreclosure, but aside from a few minor things was move-in ready. I really like the style - very open. It's a two story with vaulted ceilings in the living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a…"
"I agree with what's been said so far - these are not minor things, especially 6 hours with no diaper change and spraying perfume to cover the urine smell. That would be enough for me to pull my baby on the spot.
As a point of reference, the…"
