- I walk, I quilt, I like to work with my hands and to cook, I read, I garden, I love to have time with my friends. I also have three gorgeous kids who are 2,3 and 4 who take up all my time and leave me about fifteen minutes a day for that other stuff.

- That they look like their father.
- What's your most recent kid-related public humiliation?
- When my oversharing children told the woman at the gym that Mommy was very brave and didn't need a band-aid for the "blood on her bottom".
- What about contemporary parenting culture pisses you off the most?
- No one yells at any one else's kids. Seriously, if I have my three small people running around and my youngest heads out of the park, the six mommies sitting there are more likely to come over to me and say, "Excuse me, your kid just ran in the road." than yell "STOP! your mommy told you to stay in the sand box." at my kid. They're tough kids- they need to know that rules apply even if my back is turned. Go ahead and yell.
