- mom of 1.75 kids, The Dictator and As Yet To Be Nicknamed. .75 will become 1 full child on october 22. i have a degree in studio art emphasis in printmaking. there are other things about me, but i haven't had coffee yet.
- What's something about your kid(s) that makes you happy?
- the Dictator is a little love to me. he cuddles in the morning, gives me kisses whenever i want them, and loves his unborn little brother very much. all these things melt my heart. he is also wicked smart and i am always so proud when it's obvious that he really gets something i taught him.
- What's your most recent kid-related public humiliation?
- the Dictator telling every random stranger that we are going to lose our house. (kind of true, kind of not)

- mommy wars - other parents judging my parenting.
- Who were you BEFORE you became a parent?
- crazy, free, go where i want, stay up late, smoke what i want, drink what i want, live where i want... it was fun. truthfully, i was trying to figure out who i was, so i can't quite tell you exactly WHO i was. but i was fun.
- What are you nerdy about?
- science. i currently am sporting giant crushes on Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson and physicist Prof Brian Cox.
- Favorite music/books/TV/movies:
- music- i like a lot of british bands. the smiths, jamiroquai, everything but the girl, del amitri, etc etc...
books - it changes. but good old stand-bys include The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Candide, Harry Potter
TV- i watch a lot of Food Network, HGTV, Science Channel, and crime dramas.

- sex life.. hmm.. sex life. i think i have heard of this. i think i might of had one at some point. oh yeah, it's what got me into this crazy club. i haven't seen it in a while though.

i found out yesterday my dad has prostate cancer. i don't know what stage it is in, prognosis, what kind of treatment he will need, nothing. he just found out so i imagine a few questions will be answered at the follow-up appointment.
it really sucks. my mom is beside herself. so like i did when she landed in the hospital from complications of her cancer treatment 18 years ago, i cleaned her floors. it's what i do.

I wish i could sleep a full night before the baby comes.
I wish i could get comfortable in at least 1 position.
I wish i weren't so freakin' heavy.
I wish i didn't have a 2 story house.
I wish my husband would take the initiative and give me a back rub or foot rub.
I wish my husband would cuddle with me at night.
Hell, I wish my husband would bridge the 2 feet of space between us on the bed and touch me at all.
