This is the scariest thing that I've read in a very long time. If you haven't read this entry on Daily Kos about one woman's experiences dealing with health insurance companies during and after diagnosis and treatment with leukemia, I strongly urge you to take a few minutes and read it. I'm trying to figure out a way to get a printout of this essay on the desk of each of my congresspersons.
