Bring 'em on! I just got me a spicy new beauty and am anxious to put her to work. Also I need a name for her - she's red and I want something hot and fiery and maybe even a bit mean or naughty. Suggestions?

I actually have used her once already but just to make beer bread which didn't really even require the mixer but damnit! I was gonna use her.

I don't use my stand mixer as much as I should. It is the customary wedding gift from my grandmother and I just started using it to make Christmas cookies. I know there is a recipe on the package of pilsbury unbleached all purpose flour for soft preztels that I was thinking of trying once I feel like baking again. It can be very handy when doubling (or tripling) cookie recipes.
I use mine when I make omelettes and frittata - I beat the eggs until they're a smidge firm and really fluffy, and then gently fold in my ingredients for frittata or just pour the eggs in the pan for omelettes. I put a lid over the skillet when I'm making omelettes to help cook the eggs all the way through. For frittata, I put the pan under the broiler once the eggs are set.

I've used the dough hook to mix the ingredients for meatballs and meatloaf, too.

And when I first got my mixer, I made whipped cream nearly every day for a week. Awesome.
