Sailor smells nice and he always has, to me at least. He doens't wear colonge or aftershave, he just naturally smells nice.

But it wasn't enough to cause the pounce effect. Recently he switched soap and for a laugh I got him the Axe Chocolate soap. Little did I know the effect it would have on me. It must be the chocolate smell unless they are lacing the soap with pheremones.

Any man scents get you pouncy?

Mmmmm, Axe.

The ZenHusband started using an Axe soap a while back - not the chocolate one, though that sounds interesting. I laughed at those commercials with the women falling all over themselves to jump on the guys in the commercials.

Um, yeah, I'm not laughing now. I don't know what they put in that stuff, but it is niiice. Definitely pouncy.
note to self.... get Axe soap.

I have axe in the barn, but that doesn't make her pouncy.....
My husband sometimes uses Axe deodorant. When we worked together, other women would tell me how nice he smelled, too.
WonderWife wears Trish Blackberry/Vanilla perfume. Drives me while.

Now excuse me, I'm off to go buy me some chocolate soap.
I don't know what the mixture is. Hubby doesn't use anything out of the ordinary. Whatever Body Shop soap I put in the shower and Sunlight laundry detergent. But I want to jump his bones anyway. ;-)

Usually harsher smells make me sneeze so he tends to avoid smelly soaps and aftershave.
My friend uses some hippy cucumber soap and rarely uses deodorant. His natural man scent drives me nuts! I really like a clean man scent, especially his. I usually steal a shirt of his, that he has worn the day before, so I can wear it to bed during the week when we don't see each other. I just thought I was weird, guess I'm not that weird after all.
I'm really big on the natural smell thing, and honestly, the natural smell of a man is an aphrodisiac. Every man I've ever been wildly attracted too had a scent that made me just want to sniff him all the time. I'm always burying my nose in my BF's chest and sniffing like a puppy. But it's definitely an individual thing, not all men smell the same and I've been with men that didn't smell bad at all, but there wasn't that smell that made me want to jump their bones (after sniffing, of course.)
I Absolutely agree with you Ruth. I do the exact same sniffing thing to my friend. I can't get enough of him.
I am married to a stinky man. A very stinky man. He has some kind of crazy internal chemistry that makes him rather...sulfurous. The best thing I have found to counter it is citrus scents. I got him some aftershave lotion from this awesome bath and body place Kiwi took me to, and damn if I don't want to take a bite out of him when he uses it!
For some reason, the smell of Mr. Black's morning breath gets me going. I don't know why. Are there pheromones in there?
Mr. S doesn't use anything smelly except his aftershave (which is only every few days and very subtle) and this makes me happy. I like the way he smells naturally. And besides, most perfumy smelly things really make me feel nauseous, so it's a really good thing he doesn't use any of it--I wouldn't be able to go near him without throwing up.

And my only experience with Axe products is junior high/high school boys dousing themselves in the stupid body spray and thinking it makes them smell sexy and nice to the teenage girls. I realize that I'm not their target demographic, but I think it smells like ass.
I like it when I get a whiff of the Old Spice deodorant he wears. Sasy I'm the same way about shirts. I may just stash his once worn shirts for when he's on deployment cause the Sailor smell doesn't stay on his pillow long. Sigh.
