Nah, no babies will get strangled by that. You know, Soothie sells a clip & strap thingy for its pacifiers. They're actually pretty cute.

Hmmm... The homepage now has this message:
"Due to the rising concern of the safety of this product, Binky Buddy will not be for sale until further notice. I am researching approval for the safety of the product and will provide this safety information once it is received. At that time Binky Buddy will be up and running again."

The facebook page for it also changed.
Apparently some facebook folks reported her to Consumer Product Safety Commission.

If you think that putting a binky in a baby's mouth a few times a night is HARD, wait til your child gets older. (If he lives that long) Sticking a binky in a mouth is one of the EASIEST things when it comes to parenting. Poor baby. Some people should be sterile.

So, what was it? The picture that remains on the site looks like some sort of tie thingy. Were you supposed to tie it around their head or something?

It was a length of fabric wrapped around the front of the child's face (under the chin, kind of)to keep the binky from falling out.

Okay - so I found a picture of it online. ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME??? (Do a GIS for "binky buddy" - it is not the maxi pad looking one - you'll know it when you see it)
