yes, I have. i have been studying haarp for about 10 years now. I really just wanted to know how many people knew about it and also, what they thought

Well, from what I've read, it's not just the US doing this. There's locations in Europe as well. I'm not familiar with the science involved, so that's why I think there is such a proliferation of conspiracy theories around it. There are so many other things to worry about, this is not exactly at the top of my list.

Yawn. The airforce certainly has people working on space weather issues and how, for example, solar storms affect our atmosphere and satellites. And of course their scientists are studying ways of trying to protect communications from solar activity. It is also well known that entities such as DARPA fund some far-out stuff, but while aspects of HAARP sound, um, out there, I guarantee that most of this is conspiracy theory, lack of information, and a misunderstanding of science.
