Based on the trailer I'm not expecting much from it. I don't get casting comedic actors in these roles. Although, Ryan Reynolds was really good in "Buried". Green Lantern is a serious character. He looks the part, but the trailer makes it look like he's kind of a goof that fell into being a Green Lantern. I expect it to be a CG fest with bad acting and a stupid story, much like Avatar. I'm guessing it'll be in THREEEE DEEEEE so they hope to jump on that stupid bandwagon to make extra money.

There should be a law that only Christopher Nolan gets to make movies based on comic book characters. He's the only one that pulls it off.

I'm tempted to jump in here, but I'm guessing this is not the place for a discussion about the flick, or others, and more of a bitch session akin to the comments on Aint It Cool News.
