Permalink Reply by Lea on August 10, 2009 at 3:47pm Welcome back Rommie! Hope you had a great time. Don't forget to message the Oracle with your due date (and gender if you know/want it posted) and they will post it on the bottom of the front page.
We must be due within days of each other. I'm 32 weeks tomorrow. I broke down and bought a belly band because my sides were hurting so much with the baby shifting. SO worth it. I can move by the end of the day again!
Permalink Reply by TommysMommy on August 10, 2009 at 4:10pm Hey TommysMommy, The other day I asked if the bellyband would help with support(on another post) because my sides kept hurting and I was told no, it doesn’t help for that. But it is helping you?

Permalink Reply by Lea on August 10, 2009 at 4:16pm I asked my doctor about it last week since the sides of my stomach were so sore, I could barely move by the end of the day. She said that the baby had moved into head down position and was sitting lower than before. She also said it was because I, like everyone else, didn't do enough sit-ups while not pregnant!
She recommended a band that is more like a back brace, but for your stomach. Mine has velcro and stretches to fit. I pull it around the small of my back and velcro it in front under my stomach. I bought at a maternity story. I don't know if you guys have Thyme Maternity in the States. It has definitely helped. I can tell instantly when I don't have it on, the stomach really rides low. Sorry I missed that in the other post!

Lots of support rather than the main purpose being hiding gaps and stuff. I found the stretchy ones to be too loose.
