For those of you not blessed enough to live in northern California today is the official start to our IDIOT SEASON. Yes, it is the first day of real rain and apparently everyone pulled out their idiot card, checked to make sure they were up on their dues and hit the road. Not that they had driving manners to start with, but what little was there has been washed away by that mysterious moisture falling from the sky. I wanted to scream (and did a few times) at those not realizing that the beast that I drive does require that car length I leave between myself and the car ahead of me. It IS NOT intended to be a nice little spot for you to pop in your miniwhatever and slam on the brakes! Thank goodness I'm well insured.

I got nothing right now... only that I don't live below the equator and its 90 fn' degrees here this week. BOO. I want fall weather!
Can I get a Amen???? Yes, I, too am blessed enough to live in norcal. The roads we drive on up here are killers and everyone knows it, but, still, you are sooo right, rain brings out the idiots just as sure as summer brings tourists
The idiots come out around here too... We're in Seattle, where you'd think people should know how to drive in the rain. It is not necessary to drive 10 under the posted speed limit. If it hasn't rained in a month, the road is going to be slick, so don't cut me off and then start skidding when you have to slam on your brakes to avoid rear ending the car in front. Just leave a little more room is all! When you know you have to turn, get in the proper lane within enough time and space to safely maneuver, this isn't rocket science, it's driving.

It's worse when it snows!
