My car keys have been missing for almost 3 weeks now. The last time I used them, I'd gone out without the girls to the doctor, then stopped at the grocery store, got my hair cut, then went straight home. The next morning I couldn't find them. I've been using a backup copy (Dad taught me to have several copies on hand and keep the original stored somewhere, never to be used), but I really miss the remote entry fob. I refuse to spend almost $300 to replace that.

I searched the parking lot, but my neighbors are attentive and friendly psople who would most likely use the fob to find out which car the keys belonged to, then go to that person's house to return the key. I've searched the garage, the living room, the kitchen, my pants pockets, the washing machine, and everywhere else I can think of. Ebay will go into my purse if I forget to put it out of her reach, so it's pretty likely that she took them and they're tucked somewhere I haven't checked yet. I simply cannot think of any place in the entire house that I have not yet looked in.

Can you please tell me the strange places your children have hidden things, and I'll go look there? This is really driving me crazy.

No, I haven't. Let's see.

This may have been tried already, but have you tried asking Ebay where they are? Himself can almost always take me right to the thing that has been "lost."

Good luck!
She looked at me for a moment, then began walking into the dining room. I followed her, then she stopped and pointed at the diaper bag. It was worth a shot, though.
