But my son is turning into That Underwear Guy. You know, the one who wears wifebeaters, boxers and an unbelted robe over it. Yikes.

For some reason he doesn't like pajamas! He'll go to bed in his boxers and when he gets up, if he's cold, he'll wrap one of his fleecy throw blankets around himself. If it's a weekend, it might be noon before I realize he is still only in his underwear, and I make him go get dressed. This must be stopped. Somehow.

What quirks do your kiddos have?

Mojo hates pjs too. We are working onnhis getting dressed before he comes downstairs but it's going to take a while. Heck I don't wear pjs just a t shirt or tank over undies. But I tend to throw on pants or a skirt before making my way downstairs.
Nathan does that.  But I have a "no going downstairs without pants" rule in the house, so he'll get dressed completely rather than wear pajama pants to come downstairs and watch tv in the mornings.
Yeah. Sam (age 14) wants to be underwear guy and it drives me insane so I'm constantly reminding him to put on pants and he's constantly pissed at me for doing so.  I hate boys.

Wait... chalk this up to me having a young son and being naive. What's the problem? There are Sundays I never make it out of my pajamas and as long as I have a robe on, I figure what the heck. Am I just less modest? Or am I missing something??

It's more that I can kind of see him in my head - middle aged, still wearing the wifebeaters and boxers with the unbelted robe over it all. Throw in some ratty gym socks over which he will undoubtedly shove a pair of flip flops to go get the paper and the cliche is complete! Shouldn't I hope for more for him? ; )
Oh. This one is hard for me. My spouse often fails to get out of his ratty pajamas all day. That's what working from home will do for you. I guess you should hope for more for my house!! :)
I have trouble convincing my 3 year old boy to wear pants, period.  And I suspect my husband would go pants-free if he could get away with it as well.  I am going to throw in with Ruth and say this is a boy thing.  My girls will hang out in PJ's all day, but none of them will hang around in just their panties.
I AM underwear guy, so... I got nuthin.

I have been the underwear guy all my life. I remember waking up on Saturdays and watching cartoons in my tighty whiteys. I used to wear a blanket like a robe to make sure the lady on Romper Room didn't see my undies when she used her magic mirror.
