That kid has either watched too much tv, or not enough.

Alan, I'm thinking he must be in church ALL the time. Maybe his mom is the pastors wife?

Evangelicals/Pentacostals give me the Heebbie Jeebies -- two of GoodBuddy''s relatives are a part of "Church on Fire." Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Agreed about the heebee jeebees. I'm not that fired up about anything in my life...

I wonder if the congregation thinks the kid is really spouting gods word or if they think he must just be imitating what he sees?

He must be imitating -- but I think the congregants might image he's been moved by the spirit :P

I grew up in church all the time and would have been a damn good minister.  You should have heard the sermons that I passed off as prayers around my house.  Unfortunately, the church didn't like women minister were appropriate and they lost me altogether.

Their loss Daria... your gain!

(Not that that religion is a zero-sum game or anything ;P)

OHHHHH My god. How did I miss this?! That kid is totally awesome. Anybody who has ever met a toddler knows they can be amazing mimics, especially with and adoring audience cheering them on. My friend's little (teen) sister had a baby who could sing Snoop Dogg's hit, "Gin and Juice" with perfect timing when he was 14 months old. Both children had parents pushing their agenda on their toddlers and let them perform for their friends for approval. Personally I was a bit disgusted by my friend's little sister being proud of her son singing something so inappropriate but now, meh. He's fine. She grew up, he's a good kid and she's a good mom. I'm not sure what the baby preacher's parents' problem is.
