I finally blocked my ex-boyfriend on FB so now I won't be tempted to FB-stalk him like I have been every few weeks since he started popping up in my "People you may know" side bar.  We actually both commented on a mutual friend's post last week (me first) and it freaked me out, like he was tempting me to contact him.  It may all be in my head, but that's what it felt like.  So, for the good of all parties, I blocked him.

I also had an extremely productive day and I need to maintain that for two more hours so that I can study for a while.

Oh yeah, I finally filed the pile the weekend before last.  Dude.  That was monumental.  I know we've had filing the pile conversations before.  It's quite rewarding to be able to see my desk top again.  School is taking its toll.

What did you FINALLY do recently?

I haven't taken them TO the 2nd hand store but I have about 7 bags and boxes of stuff to donate.  My goal is to donate 40 boxes or bags of books, toys and clothes before easter.

Forty!?!  Wow.  That's some major spring cleaning.

My job is FINALLY going to be a benefited position.  I was in a bureaucratic loop hole for 7 years, I feel like the I'm in Oz.

I haven't quite gotten there yet...

I finally got the curtains for my bedroom windows done. They are just hanging in place for a few days before I do the final hem to see if they stretch. Now I just have to finish the one for the balcony door.

We're doing a trunk sale with the school in May and I cannot WAIT to get rid of stuff.

I have several things on my list that are potential FINALLYs, but they've not been done yet.  I keep losing my weekends to household crap.

I guess I did clean out the girls' closet and donate 4 bags of clothes, but that's not really monumental like Wookie's.

Oh yeah, I also FINALLY hung up curtains in Girl Grey's room last weekend.  Her blinds on one window broke a year ago and charmingly, we hung a sheet.  I drove myself nuts several weeks ago looking for the flat sheet that goes to a nice set we have and finally convinced myself that I accidentally got rid of it.  A couple of weeks later I looked at Girl Grey's room with a critical eye and said, "OH!!  There's the missing sheet!"  Doh.  Tacky tacky.

I'll see your tacky and raise you a low rent:

I went to the old house and painted three bedrooms, the stairway and the foyer over the last three weeks, but the thing I am really proud of is removing the ripped up screens from our old bedroom that the cat ripped to shreds more than a year ago...

My spouse got tired of the sunlight coming through the window in the office (the little half circle above the big window) and so one day while I was at work he nailed up a towel. Like, an old, discolored towel.

Visitors aren't allowed in that room.

I finally decided to accept my diagnosis, learn about it, and get on with serious, diligent treatment.

I have finally achieved full geekitude by planning to spend my Friday evening watching videos of Wednesday's school board meeting.  Huzzah!

You all inspired me to finally clean my side of the closet. I actually have a stack of clothes to donate now! I had no idea I was hoarding so many pairs of pants that didn't fit!
