Do I really Need Need a Breast Pump (and other stuff)?

I'm a SAHM. The times I go out without a kid are few and far between. Do I really need that breast pump?

Also I bought one of these strollers on craigslist (really cheap too) last year as a preemptive baby strike. Max is going to be four when the baby is born. Part of me wants to tell Max to suck it up and walk and buy a smaller stroller/car seat set.

How much do you use your stroller and or breast pump?

I feel bad saying this but, this is the last kid and everytime I think about buying something that's what goes through my mind. How much use is this going to get?

As for the breast pump, you probably don't need an electric one if you don't plan on taking any trips or anything, and if so they can always be rented from a hospital. It might be nice to have a little hand pump around, though, if you want to just pump a little bit so Sailor can feed the baby during the night and you can get a full night's sleep. It's a pain in the ass, but if pumping isn't difficult for you and you don't plan to have to do it much, it's a lot cheaper. In fact, I probably have mine laying around in our giant bag of bottle stuff. PM me if you want me to look, and if I still have it I'd be happy to send it to you.
I'd wait to see about the breast pump. In the perfect scenario for your situation, I doubt you would need one. If for some reason the baby won't latch or just won't breastfeed (as my little darlings chose not to do) then you would probably want a good quality pump. But definitely wait til baby comes to see what you may need.

As for the stroller, Max should have no problem getting along without one at four. Pie 1 was 2 1/2 when Pie 2 came along and he was stroller bumped (mostly - occasionally we used an umbrella stroller for long outings). Once Pie 2 was big enough, however, we did use a wagon for a few years for trips to the zoo and such.

Anything else, well, you already know what types of things work best for you and how much use you give them. For anything that doesn't pose a safety issue when it has an unknown history, get thee to Craigslist!!
I used one of those Avent handpumps when I just needed to relieve pressure if the baby was sleeping, and was able to get 4 oz or so when I really needed it. So I'd have one of those handy but I'd definitely hold off on an electric until after the baby comes and you see how things are going.
The only other scenario (besides those already described) where I could imagine you'd want a breast pump is if your baby (gods forbid) is in NICU for any length of time. But in those situations the hospital usually has one that you can use until you can get one of your own. The only pain in the ass is that you have to go to the hospital to use it.

Here's the stroller. I've got a cold and got to nap before I thought to post one. It's just so big and I'm pretty sure I want something that I can toss in the trunk easily.
MTTM--I have an Avent manual breast pump that I was given at my shower and never used. If you decide you want a manual one, send me a message and maybe we can trade babystuff or something.
Don't forget re: the stroller, the baby is going to need either a full fold-down kind, all of which are fairly big, or the kind that you can sit the carseat in. Those small umbrella strollers aren't good until the baby can sit up on her or his own.
Tricare might even pay for it. I'm sure you can get a doc to write a script for it.

I think stroller-bumping is fine at his age, because you need his help to open doors and stuff because he's your big boy helper, etc. He may think that's awesome.
True but I'm thinking that a stroller combo though big will still be smaller and easier to deal with than my monster. It seemed like such a good idea at the time but then I thought my last two would be closer in age than what they will be.

Thanks everyone for the offers. I'm going to talk with my doctor and see if I can't get a Rx for one. Thanks Mamawho you are my go to military info source!
