YES. So now you can train your picky kids to survive on nothing but chocolatey milk-like substance!

I can see how this would be helpful for a child with a medical problem, for what it's worth... Possibly better than giving them Ensure when they are that little?
I do recall hearing some relatively sane parenting book suggest that chocolate milk was not the worst thing in the world for a picky toddler. But toddler formula has never made sense to me. I've had two kids monitored for slow growth and both their pediatricians scoffed at the idea of toddler formula.
Are there babies who reject formula? Before I get all indignant about what an awful idea this is, I want to make sure I have the correct high horse to stand on.
Toddler formula is mostly a way for the formula company to keep getting business from people with kids over 1 year old.
Well, have you ever TASTED plain formula?
Several brands :P

Yeah, both our kids rejected formula. It's mama or nothing. Blerg.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if my milk does taste like chocolate. So perhaps that's why.

But you were nursing them, so there was a food option. So I will climb on my high horse and say that making chocolate formula is fucking ridiculous and one of the things that's fucking wrong with this country.

Would you feel differently if it were deep fried bacon-flavored formula?

I'd feel even worse.

the nice people at Enfamil sent us samples of the vanilla toddler formula; Dani hasn't tried it yet.
We were the suckers that gave her toddler formula from 12 months 17 months (not the flavored kind)--has lots of good things in it--when Tori came along last month, we stopped to avoid buying diapers AND formula for two.
It's not that (plain) toddler formula is bad, but it's very similar to cow's milk, and a lot more expensive.
