I've had that happen (in the distant past, DW. I know you lurk.) In this case, the person was chattier and friendlier than usual, which was weird.

I like to transfer the awkwardness to the other person by actually telling them that I had an incredibly realistic sex dream about them. Then it's no longer something for me to worry about. But you know, I'm weird that way.

Not sex dreams, but there is a manager at my work that I don't find attractive.at.all. Except he has these really sexy hands. They remind me of my "Friends" hands. I get kinda stupid and blushy around him...and thus avoid him. It's weird.

I tend to avoid my crushes too. Or I just argue with them and challenge their point of view. (Because men love that.)

I tend to not have sexy dreams about people I know, or even celebrities, for that matter. There are people who I think are pretty to look at or sexy or whatever, and I have had mild crushes on people I've worked with before, but my dreams tend to be more abstract and nebulous (as in, I could substitute the face of just about anyone and it would work) when it comes to that sort of thing.
Except once, I had the most vivid dream about Andrew Zimmern, the Bizarre Foods guy from the Travel Channel, and a motorcycle. I have no idea why, because he isn't hot at all and definitely not my type, but I couldn't watch his show for weeks after because I would remember and get all blushy and Mr. S would ask what was wrong. And I couldn't tell Mr. S what was wrong, because I never would have heard the end of it.
